Library Manager Position
Caledonia Library

The Caledonia Library is currently accepting resumes for the position of
Library Manager. Caledonia is a small town in northwest Livingston
County with a population of 4567. The Library, part of the Pioneer
Library System, is located in an historical building in the center of
the village.

The position is 35 hours a week, including evenings and Saturdays.

The Library Manager is responsible for all library functions and
administrative tasks. This includes hiring and supervision of personnel,
planning and implementing library programs, ordering of materials,
providing reference services, library technology management, budget
preparations and community relations. The manager will be expected to
attend professional meetings and workshops.

A Bachelor’s degree is required. Some library or library related
experience is preferred.

A valid Driver’s license and available transportation is necessary.

The starting salary is $29,000.
