I just finished reading a very interesting article from 'Public Libraries' magazine in the March/April 2008 issue.
The name of the article is:
TO MLS OR NOT TO MLS.
The article gives very interesting perspectives from library staff who have an MLS as well as from those who don't. I have nothing against MLS staff. I have great respect for those individuals who have taken the time to earn their MLS. I also have great respect for those staff members who go out of their way to learn as much as they can while on the job.
