Come learn about the most addicting new piece of technology for education. Learn how the Apple iPad bridges the gap between ebook readers and laptop computers. Practical application of the device for library use will be discussed as well as troubleshooting, maintenance and educational / library related apps. The instructor will be using her iPad to teach the class.

Melissa Frost has served for fifteen years as a School Librarian in the Rochester City School District. Melissa has taught numerous workshops on Follett Destiny and Cataloging to librarians at RCSD, RRLC and Monroe BOCES. Currently Melissa is on Sabbatical from the CSD in order to pursue a PH.D in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Library Science from the University at Buffalo.
